The Lord of the Rings Middle Earth Places: Troll Camp
Troll Camp:
- Appears in The Fellowship of the Ring
After Frodo has been wounded at Weathertop, the Hobbits and Aragorn rest by some troll statues. They are the three trolls that had caught Bilbo and the Dwarves on their way to Lonely Mountain, which is the tale told in The Hobbit. Bilbo with Gandalf's help had managed to keep them talking until sunrise when they turned to stone in the sunlight.
