Council of
Elrond:
- Appears in The Fellowship of the Ring
After Frodo recovers
from his wound in Rivendell, Elrond calls
a Council to discuss the fate of the One
Ring. He has called representatives from the Races of Dwarves, Elves and Men.
They argue until Frodo volunteers to take the Ring to Mordor. It also turns out that Sam, Merry and Pippin snuck into the Council.
