In The Fellowship of the Ring:
In the confrontation at Weathertop, The Witch-King stabs Frodo with a poisoned Morgul Blade, nearly turning Frodo into a Wraith.
In The Return of the King:
The Witch-King leads the Nazgûl in aerial attacks on Minas Tirith and then on the horsed Rohirrim. His Fell Beast kills Snowmane and mortally wounds King Théoden. Before he can finish Théoden off, Eowyn kills his Fell Beast. The Witchking is then wounded by Merry before Eowyn finishes him off.
